As Manager F&A, the candidate will make sure that financial reports are up-to-date and compliant with standards. He/ She will produce periodic activity updates for top management and an annual budget proposal apart from maintaining all records, compliances etc. He/ She needs to be well-trained to maintain financial records and be passionate about doing work that makes things move forward.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintain records of vouchers, invoices, payments, salaries, etc.
2. Handling day-to-day accounting.
3. Preparing invoices and following up on pending payments.
4. Complete handling of the accounting process, including invoice recording, keeping track of payments & releasing payments on a priority basis.
5. Handling month -end closure activities like booking accruals, prepaids, depreciation, revenue recognition etc.
6. Handling all banking related work, Bank reconciliations & all required RBI Compliances.
7. Supervision of Stock Accounting & Preparing Stock valuation monthly basis
8. Scrutinized of All type of Ledger & Groups.
9. Managing treasury function.
10. Communicating with clients and vendors through phone calls or email.
11. Preparation, Handling, Filing & Supervision of Taxation: Service Tax, VAT, CST, TDS, GST & Advance Tax etc.
12. Preparing financial statements.
13. Finalizing accounts, assisting in audits, maintaining ledger, maintaining account of fixed assets, and conducting all other accounting activities.
14. Ensuring compliances with accounting and tax laws.
15. Handling Licenses/Trademark/Import/Export compliances, complete paperwork & maintaining record of the same.
16. Preparing & handling monthly account details for providing on time of Yearly statutory Audit.
17. Co-ordinate with Auditor
18. Other duties as assigned from time-to-time.
Knowledge & Skill Requirement:
1. Bcom/Mcom or any other equivalent qualification in Finance.
2. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience required.
3. Preferred will be given to candidates with working experience in Food Processing or Export house.
4. Excellent record-keeping and accounting skills with high ethics.
5. Knowledge of Tally or other equivalent accounting software is preferred.
6. Good team player
7. Proven ability to learn and apply routine processes.
8. Able to communicate effectively in small groups, with government officials, participate in seminars & conduct training programs.
9. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work in a flexible environment.

Work schedule:
8-hour shift (Monday to Friday). Half-day every alternate Saturday
Other requirements:
Language – proficient in English & Garo (read, write and speak)
Working knowledge in Hindi (speak)
