FRESH MUSHROOM

TRAINING & CERTIFICATES:
At MFCS, we don’t only innovate and develop the best mushroom cultivation practices but also work towards its dissemination for the welfare of the smallholder farming community as well as the public. the MFCS CME provides practical training in modern scientific mushroom cultivation practices along with accommodation to farmers or agriculture students from across India.

WORKSHOP/ FARMER INCUBATOR:
As a farmers’ organization, we seek to acquire, incorporate, and disseminate traditional ecological knowledge equipped with scientific tools & techniques to best support our tribal farmers. Mushroom Incubator @ our Jampara site, is a secure and intensive mushroom cultivation farm with 20 individual mushrooms grow rooms, fully equipped with temperature & humidity controls, water & organic pesticide sprayers, gloves all farming material. Per batch of 20 farmers are incubated for one cycle and are trained & supported in mushroom production/ cultivation. The crop harvested is utilized for value addition @ the project facility. Individual farmers are paid based on the production coming from the individual grow room allocated to them. Further, the waste generated is converted into vermicompost @ farm. If interested, farmers are also offered training in other agriculture- livestock cultivation along with vermicompost as well.
ADVISORY SUPPORT:
MFCS is also about on-ground support to small holder mushroom farmers to improve productivity, address challenges @ farm, market connect, CFC connect, transport & logistics support and also support in reducing waste by assistance in converting waste from the mushroom shed into organic compost @ IHHL thereby providing holistic development results.
