During the month, an interaction/ awareness program was organised by TA & IA together for knowledge support of the SPV members on LEAN and its advantages for the cluster. Mr. Nilesh Trivedi, Assistant Director, DFO (DC – MSME), Tura was the lead speaker during the awareness program. Team from Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA), team from EKH district EFC & Mushroom farmers from Pnyrsula (EKH) also participated in the awareness program. The program commenced with an interactive and knowledge sharing session on the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign which is being conducted to commemorate 75 years of Independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. After that, an interactive session was held with the farmers wherein the different benefits of various schemes/ programs of MSME such as registration of Udyam Adhar, LEAN certifications, ZED, ISO, BIS were explained in detail. Questions pertaining to all these were taken up and explained in detail to the farmers and all members present. Mr. Trivedi also made a visit to the CFC site for inspection and to understand the systems installed at the CFC. He had Q&A session on the project with SPV, TA & IA team members to understand the project in more detail. MBMA team along with EFC- East Khasi Hills,Meghalaya and all farmers also were part of the CFC visit & the interactions that took place.
