Summary:
This role requires developing, overseeing & implementing sales & marketing campaigns to promote products and services of MFCS. The S&M manager will be responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans. Responsibilities will encompass creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative. Candidate is likely to work closely with other employees in the facility.

The sales and marketing manager’s responsibilities include generating unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature and developing pricing strategies. The sales and marketing manager represents the company’s brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills and should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and learn all aspects of production of mushroom products for the health & wellness industry

Board of MFCS
Secretary MMCS (as & when required)

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Promoting MFCS’s brand and introducing the products to the market.
2. Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales targets are met.
3. Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
4. Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports, ppts etc.
5. Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
6. Should design communication tools to be shared with customers/distributors when new products are launched, any specific days/festivals are coming, like World Mushroom Day, National Mushroom Day, National Nutrition Day etc.
7. Work on recipes to be circulated with customers and also create a Recipe Data Bank
8. Co-ordinate with various Hotel Management Schools and arrange for training sessions.
9. To organize events and exhibitions.
10. Updating databases and using customer relationship management (CRM) system.
11. Managing campaigns on various social media platforms and promoting products.
12. Plan for Marketing Material to be shared with customers, like, Aprons, Mushroom grow Kits, recipe booklets, brochures. Mushroom knives etc..
13. Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
14. Other duties as assigned from time-to-time

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:
1. Have proper understanding of target markets, channels, consumer behaviors, trends, within each market to plan and implement suitable programmes in each respective channels (retail, wholesale, hotel, mid-day meal) to drive sales.
2. Understand brand, sales and business direction to be able to translate that into trade marketing initiatives and responsibilities.
3. Strong commercial outlook and marketing sense.
4. Proactive and creative in all marketing mix elements.
5. A strong team player who works well with everyone across departments.
6. Ability to develop presentations and present ideas and plans well.
7. Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
8. Familiarity with social media and web analytics.
9. Good time and project management skills.
10. Good listener and proactive in their work to be hands-on on the job.
11. Positive attitude towards work and peers.
12. Good communication skills.
13. MBA Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing/sales/trade fields within F&B, HORECA and/or Retail industry.
14. BBA/ B.Com/ Bachelor in Sales & marketing with minimum 4 years of experience in marketing/sales/trade fields within F&B, HORECA and/or Retail industry.

Work schedule:
8-hour shift (Monday to Friday). Half-day every alternate Saturday

Other requirements:
Language – proficient in English & Garo (read, write and speak)
Working knowledge in Hindi (speak)
