The farmers’ outreach program was predominantly conducted to provide hands-on knowledge and spread awareness to the mushroom farmers of our cluster through various sessions and technical one-on-one advice on various loans and grants benefits they can avail of. Awareness sessions were held in all the cluster villages wherein the farmers were given extensive advice on capacity building, community participation, and access to finance and markets. Hoardings and banners were put up at important points in all the villages to spread more awareness and also to encourage more farmers to join the Oyster Mushroom cluster program
