Growing Mushrooms locally

Giving our farmers a medium to produce their own mushrooms is crucial to help them earn a dignified source of livelihood. Our cluster farmers are highly entrepreneurial in nature and have been actively engaged in the cultivation and production of Oyster Mushroom at their household level. An average of 100-150 bags are cultivated by every farmer. The spawn is procured locally and they are earning an average income of  25,000 per batch over and above their investment. The farmers are excited and optimistic about the Oyster Mushroom cluster and hope to improve their quality of life by reaching out to a wider market.
